Privacy policy

Who we are

Yellow Boxer operates PCN Challenge Assistant, an independent information service that helps you think about yellow box (box junction) penalty challenges. This policy describes how we handle information when you use this website.

Data we collect

There are no user accounts or logins. We do not ask you to upload PCN documents or appeal letters to us as part of the free checker. Any answers you give in the quick check or browse flow stay in your browser (including session-only storage while you use the tool) unless you choose to copy text elsewhere.

If you complete a payment or leave contact details in a future checkout flow, we would process that information only to fulfil the order and as described at the point of collection. The current success page is a placeholder.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies by default. The site may store minimal data in session storage so your place in the wizard can be restored if you use the back button in the same tab. Closing the tab clears that session data.

Third-party services

Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). Their privacy notice applies to that service. When you pay, your card or wallet details are handled by your payment provider, not stored on our servers in plain form.

Hosting and content delivery may rely on standard infrastructure providers; they process technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) as needed to deliver the site securely.

Retention

Wizard progress in your browser is session-based and stays in the current tab so the back button can restore your place. Closing the tab clears that session data. We do not maintain a database of your free-check answers on our side unless we introduce that explicitly in a future version with consent.

International users (UK, EEA, and California)

If the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to run the site and on contract where you purchase a pack. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

California residents: you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law. To exercise rights, contact us below.

Children

This service is not aimed at children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" notion is the date shown in your version control or site notice; continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
